Graveyard Smash Halloween Pitcher Drink Ingredients
I always get annoyed when I have the use half of something for a recipe because then what do I do with the other half?! I specifically developed this Halloween party drink so that you won’t randomly have leftover juice or berries. You’ll use the entire bottle of concord grape juice and the entire package of blackberries! This also makes it sooo much easier to make the mocktail because you won’t have to measure — just dump and go!

I used both lemon and lime juices to create complexity and layer flavor and some maple syrup to balance the tartness of the berries and add a hint of smoky fall sweetness. The rosemary is super subtle since it’s muddled but lends an herbal quality that I think pairs really well with the berries. The finishing touch is sparkling water (or seltzer or club soda) for some bubbles. I ended up using an entire 750 ml bottle but anywhere between 3-4 cups tastes great!

How to Make this Halloween Punch in Just 5 Minutes

You’ll start with the “smash” part of this easy Halloween mocktail first. The blackberries, rosemary, and maple syrup are muddled together until the berries are VERY juicy. It’s kind of awkward to do this if your pitcher is super tall like mine so you can absolutely do this part in a separate bowl, then pour everything into the pitcher. The entire bottle of concord grape juice goes in next along with the lime and lemon juices.

Give it a good stir. If you’re making this ahead of time for your party, I recommend waiting to pour in the sparkling water until you’re ready to start serving so the bubbles are nice and crisp! Simply put the pitcher in the fridge to chill until you’re ready for it. Otherwise, pour in the sparkling water then serve!

Have Fun with Spooky Garnishes
I wanted to go the extra step for this spooky mocktail because I LOVE Halloween so I added a little gummy skull candy along with traditional blackberry and rosemary garnishes. Since I used a large ice cube, the skull rested on there easily without sinking to the bottom of the glass! Here are some other fun ideas for garnishes:
- Thread a gummy worm on a cocktail pick and place it across the top of the glass — definitely perfect for a graveyard theme!
- Use a small round ice cube mold to make ice “eyeballs”. Place a single blueberry in each mold, fill with water, then freeze. Use the ice eyeballs in each glass!
- Grab some gummy eyeballs and pop one or two in each glass — super easy and super festive!
- Want to keep it classic? Thread a couple of blackberries onto a cocktail pick OR a sprig or rosemary and place it on each glass.

Description
This Graveyard Smash Halloween mocktail is a spooky and refreshing non-alcoholic pitcher drink made with smashed blackberries, fresh rosemary, citrus, grape juice, and sparkling water. It’s ready in just 5 minutes and is perfect for serving at Halloween parties and gatherings!
Ingredients
- 12-ounce package blackberries, plus extra for garnish if desired
- 3 sprigs fresh rosemary, plus extra for garnish if desired
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 32-ounce bottle concord grape juice, chilled
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 3–4 cups sparkling water, chilled
Instructions
- Add the blackberries, rosemary, and maple syrup to a large pitcher that can hold at least 11-12 cups. Muddle until the blackberries are very juicy and mostly broken down.
- Add the grape juice, lemon juice, and lime juice. Stir well, then top with chilled sparkling water right before serving.
Notes
This recipe makes approximately 10 cups which is enough for 10 8-ounce servings.
You can make this mocktail ahead of time and keep the pitcher in the fridge until you need it. I recommend waiting to add the sparkling water until right before serving. The blackberry and grape juice base can be made and kept in the fridge up to 3 days in advance.
You’ll need 2 medium lemons to yield enough juice and 2-4 limes to yield enough juice depending on how juicy they are. I highly recommend using freshly squeezed for the freshest flavor!
You can use frozen blackberries here if you prefer. You’ll need the same amount – 12 ounces. Allow the berries to thaw in the fridge overnight then dump everything, juices and all, into your pitcher.
If you feel like you’ll be bothered by the blackberry and rosemary bits in the drink, muddle everything first in a bowl, then strain the juices into your pitcher.
If you feel like making a boozy option, you can try subbing in a bottle of sparkling wine in place of the sparkling water.
